Job summary

Santa Monica Healthcare Center is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat residents within a structured care plan at our Santa Monica facility. This role offers competitive compensation and a supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current California PT license.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred; new grads welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, ROM, and respiration/circulation.
• Provides direct resident treatment per plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to ensure safe discharge.
• Completes required forms and documents per company policy and regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
