Job summary

Fruitvale Healthcare Center, part of Mariner Healthcare, is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) in Oakland, CA. The role offers a $104,000–$124,000 annual base with per diem/on-call responsibilities and a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating residents, performing strength and range-of-motion assessments, and ensuring care plans comply with regulations. California licensure required; new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
