Job summary

Almaden Health and Rehabilitation Center in San Jose, CA seeks a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate, plan, and administer treatments for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions within a supportive team environment.

Salary ranges from $104,000 to $124,000 per year, with per diem/on-call availability and a sign-on bonus. Benefits include PTO and referral bonuses; new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.
• CA license to practice Physical Therapy required.
• New graduates welcome; 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment per established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to ensure safe discharge of residents.
• Completes required forms and documents per company policy and state/federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
