Job summary

Inglewood Healthcare Center, part of Mariner Healthcare, seeks a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents within a qualified plan of care. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, documentation compliance, and coordination with care teams in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate holds a PT degree and CA licensure, with or without 1 year of clinical experience; new grads are welcomed. A sign-on bonus is available and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• California license to practice Physical Therapy.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
