Job summary

Inglewood Healthcare Center is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide patient-focused care within a supportive, family-like environment. You will evaluate residents, plan treatments, and collaborate with the care team to deliver services that improve mobility and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.

• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care..
