Qualifications

• Must have Doctorate or Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• CPR certification and state-required certifications as applicable.
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric PT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine functional abilities and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals.
• Implement exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve mobility and function.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about therapy procedures and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Stay updated on PT advancements and integrate them into practice.
• Manage patient load and delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate.
