Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• DPT or Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR certification; other state-mandated certifications.
• Clinical skills in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric PT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Delegate and use a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) when applicable.
• Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy techniques, technologies, and best practices.
