Job summary

Mercy Health's Marcum & Wallace Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide skilled interventions and documentation for patients across outpatient, inpatient, pediatric and off-site settings. You will educate families and support the continuum of professional care with a collaborative team.

The successful candidate must be licensed as a PTA in the current state and may need BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred at hire; required within 30 days for certain facilities.
• Experience with pediatric, adult and geriatric patient care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate therapeutic interventions under supervision.
• Maintains accurate treatment records and tracks patient progress.
• Supports productivity goals while ensuring quality of care.
• Precepts students during clinical experiences.
