THERAPY 2000 is seeking a Physical Therapist to join a mission-driven team in East El Paso. This home-based pediatric therapy role focuses on evaluating, treating, and supporting children in their homes with pediatric physical therapy services.

The position offers flexible options for full-time or part-time schedules, a sign-on bonus, mileage reimbursement, a company laptop, and a 401k plan. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to serve diverse families.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a pediatric Physical Therapist.
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Specialty Certifications (e.g., PCS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations using standardized tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Create home exercise programs with caregivers.
• Coordinate care with other providers and disciplines.
• Meet minimum weekly patient visit requirements and complete chart updates and documentation.
• Engage with agency staff to maintain care standards and expectations.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and applicable laws for home-health pediatric PT.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.


• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician orders.


• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.


• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.


• Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.


• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.


• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.


• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.


• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric physical therapy.
