Job summary

Ascension Providence in Waco, TX is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team. You will assess patients, develop individualized care plans and deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to promote recovery and function.

The role requires a PT credential through the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners within 6 months of hire, a Bachelor's degree, and BLS within 1 month. Master's or Doctorate is preferred, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Assess patient conditions through initial and ongoing evaluations to design personalized care plans that involve patients and families.
• Deliver prescribed physical therapy interventions using established techniques to support patient recovery in an outpatient setting.
• Modify treatment plans based on continuous evaluations to ensure safe and effective progress toward health goals.
• Guide therapy assistants, students and support personnel to maintain high standards of patient care and team collaboration.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
