Responsibilities

• Meets patient goals and provides quality care by evaluating and planning treatments with physicians or prescriptions.
• Administers therapies including manual exercises, modalities, hydrotherapy, and assistive devices as prescribed.
• Evaluates treatment effects and progress; suggests adjustments to plans of care as needed.
• Completes discharge planning with clinicians and caregivers; coordinates follow-up care.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to infection-control policies.
• Documents care services in patient records and maintains accurate charts.
• Ensures safety and compliance by following procedures and regulations; keeps equipment in good working order.
