HealthActions seeks a caring DPT to render excellent care to our patients. This full-time position offers hands-on paid training, ongoing mentoring, and the opportunity to grow into lead or management roles.

We have 11 Alabama locations with potential managerial opportunities and a commitment to servant leadership and a family-like patient relationship. All experience levels considered; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.
• Current Physical Therapist License.
• Yearly maintenance of required CEU’s.

Responsibilities

• Meets the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining PT treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
• Helps patient accomplish treatment plan by administering manual exercises and guiding activities and in using assistive devices.
• Administers PT treatments using manual techniques, hydrotherapy, ultrasound, and other modalities as prescribed.
• Evaluates effects of treatments and adjustments to devices based on patient progress.
• Completes discharge planning and designs home exercise programs for ongoing care.
• Documents patient care services in patient and department records.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and safe clinical environment.
