Job summary

PACS in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents, collaborate with families and physicians, and maintain complete documentation in medical records. You will develop individualized treatment plans, supervise PT assistants, and provide staff in-services to support rehabilitation goals while ensuring safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient with Net Health and PointClickCare documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine PT needs and rehab potential.
• Develop and update treatment plans to improve mobility and function.
• Supervise PT assistants and train staff.
• Communicate progress with physicians, families, and care teams.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in medical records.
• Ensure safe treatment environment and infection control.
