Job summary

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in Ethridge, TN, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our therapy team. The role focuses on evaluating patients, designing treatment plans, and guiding therapy to restore function and mobility. You will collaborate with therapists, technicians, schedulers, and care managers to deliver coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Tennessee or pending licensure.
• Doctorate or master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients including subjective and objective data, assessment, prognosis, and goals.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and supervise technicians for quality care.
• Maintain documentation for therapy treatment using TOA’s EHR/EMR systems.
• Communicate effectively with providers, staff, patients, and families.
• Discharge patients as appropriate and ensure smooth continuity of care.
• Demonstrate positive engagement and provide excellent customer service.
• Adhere to Federal and State regulatory laws and rules; seek input as needed.

TOA in Ethridge is located approximately four miles outside the Lawrenceburg city limits.

Specifically, our Physical Therapists:

• Evaluate patients including subjective information, objective information, assessment, prognosis, and goals.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, educational programs for patients, and supervise technicians to provide quality patient care by improving mobility & strength, and decreasing future injury for return to functional activities
• Maintain and provide all documentation for the therapy treatment, utilizing TOA’s EHR/EMR systems.
• Communicates effectively with providers, staff, patients, and families.
• Discharge patients as appropriate
• Demonstrates positive engagement in providing the best customer service to patients and staff.
• Adheres to Federal and State regulatory laws and rules.
• Seeks appropriate input as needed.

Requirements

• Current (or pending) licensure in Physical Therapy in the State of Tennessee is required.
• Master/Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR Certification
• Enjoys being part of a team that works collaboratively to achieve goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels

Preferred

• Minimum two years of experience in orthopaedics is preferred
