Job summary

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in Tennessee is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to join our collaborative therapy team. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and help patients regain mobility after injury or surgery.

Our therapy environment emphasizes teamwork, excellent patient care, and comprehensive benefits. Current TN PT licensure and CPR certification are required; two years in orthopaedics preferred.

Qualifications

• Current (or pending) licensure in Physical Therapy in Tennessee.
• Master/Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
• CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients including subjective information, objective information, assessment, prognosis, and goals.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, educational programs for patients, and supervise technicians to provide quality patient care by improving mobility & strength, and decreasing future injury for return to functional activities
• Maintain and provide all documentation for the therapy treatment, utilizing TOA’s EHR/EMR systems.
• Communicates effectively with providers, staff, patients, and families.
• Discharge patients as appropriate

Specifically, Our Physical Therapists

• Demonstrates positive engagement in providing the best customer service to patients and staff.
• Adheres to Federal and State regulatory laws and rules.
• Seeks appropriate input as needed.

Requirements

• Current (or pending) licensure in Physical Therapy in the State of Tennessee is required.
• Master/Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR Certification
• Enjoys being part of a team that works collaboratively to achieve goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels

Preferred

• Minimum two years of experience in orthopaedics is preferred
