Job summary

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA) is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our Ethridge team. You will evaluate patients, design and implement treatment plans, and document care in TOA’s EHR/EMR system.

Collaboration with therapists, technicians, schedulers, and managers is essential to deliver high-quality care. Qualifications include Tennessee PT licensure, a Doctorate/Masters in Physical Therapy, CPR certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as Physical Therapist in Tennessee is required.
  • Master or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients including subjective and objective information, assessment, prognosis, and goals.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans and supervise technicians to improve mobility and strength.
  • Maintain and provide documentation for therapy treatment using TOA's EHR/EMR systems.
  • Communicate effectively with providers, staff, patients, and families.
  • Discharge patients as appropriate and ensure continuity of care.
  • Demonstrate positive engagement and deliver excellent customer service to patients and staff.
  • Adhere to federal and state regulatory laws and rules.
  • Seek input as needed to optimize patient care.

TOA in Ethridge is located approximately four miles outside the Lawrenceburg city limits.

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is the largest orthopaedic surgery group in Tennessee. Specifically, our Physical Therapists:

  • Evaluate patients including subjective information, objective information, assessment, prognosis, and goals.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, educational programs for patients, and supervise technicians to provide quality patient care by improving mobility & strength, and decreasing future injury for return to functional activities
  • Maintain and provide all documentation for the therapy treatment, utilizing TOA's EHR/EMR systems.
  • Communicates effectively with providers, staff, patients, and families.
  • Discharge patients as appropriate
  • Demonstrates positive engagement in providing the best customer service to patients and staff.
  • Adheres to Federal and State regulatory laws and rules.
  • Seeks appropriate input as needed.
Requirements
  • Current (or pending) licensure in Physical Therapy in the State of Tennessee is required.
  • Master/Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • CPR Certification
  • Enjoys being part of a team that works collaboratively to achieve goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels
Preferred
  • Minimum two years of experience in orthopaedics is preferred
