Job summary

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in Tennessee is seeking a Physical Therapist to join a collaborative therapy team dedicated to helping patients regain mobility and return to functional activities. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and document care using TOA’s EHR/EMR systems.

This role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication with physicians, patients, and families, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master/Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current (or pending) licensure in Physical Therapy in Tennessee.
• CPR Certification.
• Enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients including subjective information, objective information, assessment, prognosis, and goals.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and supervise technicians to provide quality patient care by improving mobility and strength.
• Maintain and provide all documentation for the therapy treatment using TOA’s EHR/EMR systems.
• Communicate effectively with providers, staff, patients, and families.
• Discharge patients as appropriate.
• Demonstrate positive engagement in providing the best customer service to patients and staff.
• Adhere to Federal and State regulatory laws and rules.
• Seek input as needed.

Specifically, our Physical Therapists:

• Maintain and provide all documentation for the therapy treatment, utilizing TOA’s EHR/EMR systems.
• Communicates effectively with providers, staff, patients, and families.
• Discharge patients as appropriate
• Demonstrates positive engagement in providing the best customer service to patients and staff.
• Adheres to Federal and State regulatory laws and rules.
• Seeks appropriate input as needed.

Requirements

• Current (or pending) licensure in Physical Therapy in the State of Tennessee is required.
• Master/Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR Certification
• Enjoys being part of a team that works collaboratively to achieve goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels

Preferred

• Minimum two years of experience in orthopaedics is preferred
