Job summary

TOA in Ethridge is part of the Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance, the state's largest orthopaedic surgery group. Our physical therapists evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with clinicians to restore mobility and return patients to daily activities.

We require current Tennessee PT licensure, a Master or Doctorate of Physical Therapy, CPR certification, and excellent communication with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current (or pending) licensure in Physical Therapy in the State of Tennessee is required.
• Master/Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR Certification
• Enjoys being part of a team that works collaboratively to achieve goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients including subjective information, objective information, assessment, prognosis, and goals.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, educational programs for patients, and supervise technicians to provide quality patient care by improving mobility & strength, and decreasing future injury for return to functional activities
• Maintain and provide all documentation for the therapy treatment, utilizing TOA’s EHR/EMR systems.
• Communicates effectively with providers, staff, patients, and families.
• Discharge patients as appropriate
• Utilizes EMR/EHR systems.
• Demonstrates positive engagement in providing the best customer service to patients and staff.
• Adheres to Federal and State regulatory laws and rules.

TOA in Ethridge is located approximately four miles outside the Lawrenceburg city limits.

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is the largest orthopaedic surgery group in Tennessee. Requirements

• Current (or pending) licensure in Physical Therapy in the State of Tennessee is required.
• Master/Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR Certification
• Enjoys being part of a team that works collaboratively to achieve goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels

Preferred

• Minimum two years of experience in orthopaedics is preferred
