Job summary

Memorial Hermann seeks a Physical Therapist to assess patients, develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluations, and provide direct patient care. This role may assist Level II & III therapists and support program development, training students, and staff.

The schedule includes Wed–Sat 4–10s, with responsibilities across evaluation, treatment delivery, and patient education, while maintaining safety and quality standards in care delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university-based program.
• Doctoral degree with residency or fellowship, or licensed therapist with 30 hours of continuing competence in differential diagnosis.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas or the PT Compact.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients, develops and initiates treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Implements physical therapy treatment programs and provides basic PT treatments.
• Documents findings, progress and instruction to patients and caregivers.
• Mentors/assists Level II & III therapists and contributes to program development.
• Provides training to students, interns and other staff.
