Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to assess patients, initiate treatment plans, and provide direct patient care in a hospital setting. You will document findings, supervise assistants, and support program development within the rehabilitation team.

The role requires working with Level II & III therapists, coordinating with caregivers and physicians, and maintaining compliant clinical records and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate/entry requirements include a degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Texas license to practice physical therapy or eligible for license; BLS certification.
• Experience with evaluation-based treatment plans and patient documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise staff as needed.
• Document findings, progress and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Assist Level II & III therapists and leadership with program development.
• Maintain timely, accurate medical records and comply with policies.
