Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to assess patients and develop treatment plans based on evaluations. You will document findings and progress, and may assist Level II & III therapists and leadership with program development.

Responsibilities include implementing therapy plans, supervising assistants, communicating with patients, families and physicians, and ensuring safe, high quality care in alignment with Memorial Hermann standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current Texas PT license or PT Compact; Basic Life Support.
• Experience: Ability to provide patient care and supervise staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients, develops and initiates treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Documents findings, progress and instruction to patients and caregivers.
• May assist Level II & III therapists and leadership with program development.
• Implements physical therapy treatment programs and supervises assistants.
• Communicates with patients, families, physicians and insurers.
• Ensures safe care, adheres to policies and participates in continuing education.
