Job summary

Memorial Hermann is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to assess patients, develop and initiate evidence-based treatment plans, and provide direct patient care. You may support Level II & III therapists and contribute to program development while offering guidance to students and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy by Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or PT Compact.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to evaluate and plan care for patients; familiarity with differential diagnosis is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise assistants and rehab technicians.
• Document findings, progress, and patient/caregiver education.
• Assist Level II & III therapists and contribute to program development.
• Train and mentor students, interns, and staff as needed.
• Demonstrate safe, compassionate, and efficient care in line with department standards.
