Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking aLicensed Physical Therapist to assess patients, develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluations, and provide direct patient care. The role includes supervision of assistants, documentation, and contributing to program development while maintaining Memorial Hermann standards.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and a current Texas license (or PT Compact eligibility) with Basic Life Support.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas or via PT Compact; BLS certification.
• Clinical experience: two or more years preferred or completion of an accredited residency.
• Direct access: Doctoral degree with residency/fellowship or license with 30 hours of dif. diagnosis continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop/ initiate treatment plans from evaluations.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise assistants/rehab technicians.
• Document findings, progress and instructions to patients/caregivers.
• Mentor and support staff; participate in committees and program development.
• Ensure safe, compassionate, and efficient care per Memorial Hermann standards.
