Job Opportunity: Part-Time Physical Therapist at BAYADA Home Health Care

***$5,000 Sign-on Bonus for Part-Time Position!***

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a Part-Time role providing home health visits in Calvert County. The position involves visiting adult and geriatric clients, primarily Monday through Friday, between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm.

As a home care Physical Therapist, you will be a vital part of a multidisciplinary team delivering rehabilitative and skilled nursing care, enabling clients to stay at home.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct home visits within designated territories.
2. Perform diagnostic assessments including mobility, joint range of motion, stability, gait, strength, balance, and safety evaluations.
3. Implement wound care interventions using evidence-based dressings and topical agents.
4. Develop and update individualized care plans with manual therapies, gait training, and balance exercises.
5. Assess and revise care plans regularly and collaborate with nursing staff.
6. Educate clients and families on rehabilitative activities to promote health and independence.
7. Document all observations and interventions accurately using electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

• Current Maryland PT license.
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computers; experience with EMR preferred.
