Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to provide objective assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients. You will supervise patients and rehab staff, following Mercy policies and state practice acts.

Licensure must be current; BLS certification required. Six months to one year of experience is preferred, with emphasis on rehab for adults and the elderly. Mercy offers a comprehensive benefits package and supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Responsible for objective assessments and comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
• Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patients directly and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Perform objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Work under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and adhere to Mercy mission and service standards.

Education

Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
