Job summary

Mercy Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri seeks a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess patients and design individualized treatment plans for adults and geriatric clients. You will work under Therapy Leadership, providing direct and indirect supervision of rehab staff and PT assistants, while ensuring care aligns with Mercy standards.

The role requires licensure in the state, a current BLS certification, and generally 6–12 months of rehab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent).
• Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary Physical Therapy license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required and current before treating patients independently.
• Six months to one year of rehabilitation experience preferred, with adult/geriatric focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Align duties with Mercy service standards and organizational mission.
