Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients under the supervision of Therapy Leadership. The role includes developing individualized treatment plans and guiding rehab technicians and PT assistants in accordance with state practice acts.

Qualifications

Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or DPT.
Current or temporary license to practice Physical Therapy in state of practice.
BLS certification required and must be current before patient care.
Preferred 6–12 months rehab experience; experience with adult/geriatric patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for adults and geriatrics.
Directly supervise patients and rehabilitation technicians.
Supervise PT aides in accordance with State Practice Acts.
Deliver therapy services under supervision of Therapy Leadership and Mercy policies.
