Job summary

Mercy in Missouri seeks a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients. Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership, you will supervise rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants, ensuring care aligns with Mercy standards and state practice acts.

Licensure and BLS certification are required. Preferred candidates have six months to one year of rehab experience and possess skills to manage

Qualifications

• Current physical therapy license in state of practice.
• BLS certification current.
• Six months to one year rehabilitation experience preferred for adult/geriatric care.
• Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and create comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of rehabilitation technicians and supervision of PT assistants per State Practice Acts.
• Ensure care aligns with Mercy mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.

Education

Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
