Job summary

Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Passaic County is seeking a Physical Therapist Float to evaluate and treat patients, progress plans, and educate caregivers. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, full-time hours, and competitive compensation.

New Jersey license is required; outpatient orthopedics experience is preferred but entry-level candidates are welcome. A strong benefits package and professional growth opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior outpatient orthopedics experience preferred; entry level/new grad acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and appropriately progresses individualized treatment plans.
• Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in a manner they can understand, and plans appropriately for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all rehab team members.
• Facilitates professional growth, development and overall improvement of departmental performance.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.

Schedule: Monday-Friday full-time 40 hours weeklyCompensation: $86,000-$110,000 annually depending on years of experience

** up to a $15,000 sign on bonus**
