Job summary

Kessler Rehabilitation Center in New Jersey is seeking a Physical Therapist Float to join our outpatient team. The role offers a competitive salary range and a sign-on bonus, with a Monday–Friday schedule of 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an APTA-accredited physical therapy program.
  • New Jersey State PT license/registration required to start.
  • Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred; new-grad acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Performs comprehensive evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans.
  • Provides education to patients and caregivers and plans discharge when appropriate.
  • Participates in departmental initiatives and communicates with rehab team.
  • Supports professional growth and departmental performance.
  • Performs other duties related to care and program delivery.
  • Must be a graduate of an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy.
  • Valid New Jersey State PT license/registration required to start.
  • Prior outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; new-grad acceptable.

Responsibilities Of The Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and appropriately progresses individualized treatment plans.
  • Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in an understandable manner, and plans appropriately for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.
  • Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all rehab team members.
  • Facilitates professional growth, development and overall improvement of departmental performance.
  • Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline‑specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.
  • Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
  • Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/Registration required to start.
  • Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; new‑grad entry level acceptable.
