Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Clifton, NJ, is seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time, 40-hour workweek. Compensation ranges from $86,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience, with a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy license/registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior outpatient orthopedics experience preferred; entry level/new grad acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations and develops progressions of individualized treatment plans.
• Provides education to patients and caregivers and plans discharge when skilled care is no longer needed.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and communicates effectively with rehab team members.
• Facilitates professional growth and overall departmental performance improvement.
• Performs other professional duties related to care and design of program delivery.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT):

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and appropriately progresses individualized treatment plans.
• Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in a manner they can understand, and plans appropriately for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all rehab team members.
• Facilitates professional growth, development and overall improvement of departmental performance.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level/New Grad acceptable
