Job summary

Welltech Partners in Salinas, CA seeks a Physical Therapist Center Director to lead outpatient services. You will evaluate and treat adults, oversee PT programs, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal recovery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical limitations in outpatient settings.
• Develop and implement PT programs focused on rehabilitation and functional recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs.
• Document treatment plans and patient progress clearly in electronic medical records.
• Manage daily patient load of 12–14 and supervise PTA and aides (1–2).
• Demonstrate leadership without heavy administrative duties.

Physical Therapist Center Director | Salinas

Location:Salinas, CA

Job type: Full-time, outpatient clinic (adult).

Shift: Full time, part time, PRN, flexible.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical limitations or impairments.
• Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
• Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs.
• Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and any changes in status.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• 12 - 14 patients/day ( 1 pt every 30 mins).
• Management of PTA & aides, 1- 2 at most.
• Benefit of leadership skills without additional administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Valid California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• DPT in Physical THERAPY.

• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Knowledge of the latest therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
