Job summary

Welltech Partners in Stockton, CA is seeking a Physical Therapist Center Director for an outpatient clinic serving adults. This is a full-time role with potential for part-time/PRN arrangements and a competitive salary range of 105–130K. PRN rates are $50–70 per hour.

You will evaluate and treat patients, develop rehabilitation programs, educate families, and document progress while coordinating with the broader healthcare team. A strong emphasis on ethical practice and leadership is expected.

Qualifications

• State licensure as Physical Therapist in California is required.
• DPT in Physical Therapy or related field preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

• Develop and implement physical therapy rehab programs.
• Work with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, options, and home exercise programs.
• Evaluate treatment effects and communicate progress.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists for comprehensive care.
• Manage 12–14 patients per day (1 pt every 30 mins).
• Oversee PTA & aides (1–2 at most).
• Leadership duties with minimal additional admin tasks.

Location: Stockton, CA.

Job type: Full-time, outpatient clinic (adult).

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical limitations or impairments.
• Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
• Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs.
• Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and any changes in status.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• 12 - 14 patients/day ( 1 pt every 30 mins).
• Management of PTA & aides, 1- 2 at most.
• Benefit of leadership skills without additional administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Valid California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• DPT in Physical Therapy or related field (preferred)
• Current CPR certification (preferred)
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Knowledge of the latest therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
