Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Magnolia–Groves, TX to support patient care under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. The PTA will administer treatments, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate has an accredited PTA program background, Texas licensure, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state (Texas).
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally to patients and staff.
• Must be capable of performing responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Record treatments given in medical records.
• Participate in patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicate progress, problems, and plans with supervising therapist and rehab team.
• Participate in facility in-service training programs.
• Record daily treatments and labor according to procedures and state PT rules.
