Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Round Rock, TX location on a part-time basis. You will work under a licensed PT to deliver therapy services and support care teams.

The PTA will record treatments, communicate patient progress, and participate in team meetings. We welcome qualified candidates with strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Strong communication skills and professional interactions with patients and staff.
• Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments given in medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist and rehab team regarding progress, problems, plans.
• Participates in facility in-service training programs.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to procedures and state Physical Therapy rules.

Essential Functions:

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist
• Records treatments given in medical record
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
• Participates in facility in-service training programs
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state Physical Therapy rules

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current license in practicing state
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff
