Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patient care under the direction of a physical therapist in Texas. This role focuses on delivering quality therapy, recording treatments accurately, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient progress.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited PTA program credential and a current Texas license, with strong communication skills and the ability to engage with patients and staff

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff.
• Must be capable of performing the Responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist
• Records treatments given in medical record
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
• Participates in facility in-service training programs
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state Physical Therapy rules
