Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support clinicians and patients in Round Rock, Texas. The PTA will execute treatments under the direction of a licensed PT and document care in patient records.

The ideal candidate is licensed in Texas, communicates well with patients and team members, and participates in regular care conferences and staff trainings to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to relate professionally to patients, families, and staff.
• Ability to perform responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Strong teamwork and participation in interdisciplinary care meetings.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments given in the medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
• Participates in facility in-service training programs.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedures and state Physical Therapy rules.
