Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation Services is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team in Denison, Texas. The PTA will support licensed physical therapists in delivering patient-centered care and will document treatments in the medical record, participate in care conferences, and coordinate with the supervising therapist and rehab staff.

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Excellent communication and professional interaction with patients and staff.
• Ability to perform the responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments given in medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other team members regarding patient progress.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to procedures and state Physical Therapy rules.
