Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation in Groves, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team at Magnolia Manor. The PTA will assist the physical therapists, document treatments, and participate in weekly rehab meetings.

The ideal candidate graduated from an accredited PTA program, holds a current license, and demonstrates strong communication with patients, families, and staff. A supportive clinical environment and ongoing CEU opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments given in medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
• Participates in facility in-service training programs.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state Physical Therapy rules.
