Job summary

Ultimate Therapy Services is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the therapy team at Autumn Lake at Arcola in Silver Spring, MD. This full-time role helps residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence under the supervision of a licensed PT.

You will deliver treatments, guide gait and transfers, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team. Maryland PTA license required; new graduates welcome; benefits included.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland PTA license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Guide residents through strengthening, gait training, balance, transfers, endurance, and mobility activities.
• Follow established treatment plans and support rehabilitation goals.
• Observe resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
• Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe movement techniques.
• Complete clear and timely treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident recovery.

Ultimate Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the therapy team at Autumn Lake at Arcola. Work alongside experienced rehabilitation professionals while providing hands‑on treatment that helps residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall function.

What You'll Do

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Guide residents through strengthening, gait training, balance, transfers, endurance, and mobility activities
• Follow established treatment plans and support individualized rehabilitation goals
• Observe resident progress and communicate relevant changes to the supervising PT
• Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe movement techniques
• Complete clear and timely treatment documentation
• Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident recovery
