Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Cherry Lane in Laurel, MD. This full-time role offers hands-on patient care to improve residents' strength, mobility, balance, and function.

Salary ranges from $37 to $41 per hour with benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k); paid time off; CE support; and a supportive team environment. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Maryland PTA license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Guide residents through strengthening, gait training, balance, transfers, endurance, and mobility activities.
• Carry out individualized treatment programs established by the supervising PT.
• Monitor resident response to therapy and communicate progress to the clinical team.
• Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other team members.

What You’ll Do
