Job summary

Ultimate Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the therapy team at Autumn Lake at Arcola. This full-time role offers hands-on treatment to help residents improve strength, mobility, and independence.

You will work under a licensed PT, guide gait and balance training, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team. Maryland PTA license required; new grads welcome. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, CE support.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland PTA license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing quality, resident-centered rehabilitation.
• New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply.
• Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Guide residents through strengthening, gait training, balance, transfers, endurance, and mobility activities.
• Follow established treatment plans and support individualized rehabilitation goals.
• Observe resident progress and communicate relevant changes to the supervising PT.
• Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe movement techniques.
• Complete clear and timely treatment documentation.
• Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident recovery.

What You'll Do
