Job summary

Post Rehabilitation Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join Civita Care Center at Cheshire in Cheshire, CT. You will help residents improve mobility and maintain independence in a skilled nursing setting.

The position is full-time with a pay range of $33–$36 per hour and comprehensive benefits. New graduates are welcome to apply and you will work under a Physical Therapist's direction to implement treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Connecticut PTA license is required.
• Strong teamwork and clinical documentation skills.

Post Rehabilitation Services is seeking a PTA to join Civita Care Center at Cheshire. You'll help residents build confidence with everyday movement, providing treatment that supports both short-term recovery and ongoing needs in a skilled nursing setting.

What You'll Do

• Carry out individualized treatment plans under a Physical Therapist's direction
• Guide residents through exercises, gait training, and transfer practice
• Monitor activity tolerance and communicate changes to the supervising PT
• Reinforce mobility techniques residents can use during daily routines
• Record treatment and collaborate with nursing and fellow therapists
