Adelphi Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Maryland is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to support residents with rehabilitation needs. You will provide direct patient care, follow treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid PTA license and state registration.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care and assessing patients' condition and rehab potential.

• Document and educate patients and families on therapy techniques.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
• Administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
• Document and record the patients’ condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred
