Job summary

Shady Grove Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a devoted care team in Rockville, Maryland. This role offers a $7,500 retention bonus for full-time employment and flexible PRN options alongside FT/PT positions, with pay ranges tailored by experience and status.

As a PTA, you will provide direct patient care, document progress, and collaborate with therapists and care staff to deliver patient-centered rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
• Administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
• Document and record the patients’ condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
