Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for PRN work at River's Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa, KY. You will work as part of a team, implementing treatment plans under a supervising PT and educating patients on home exercise programs.

Requirements include an associate degree in PTA, an active PTA license in good standing, and preferred 1 year of PTA experience. Schedule is daytime PRN with on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in PTA program.
• Current, unencumbered PTA license in the state.
• 1 year of PTA experience preferred.
• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a PT.
• Documents patient progress and reports changes to the supervising PT.
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices.

Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Program required
• Current, unencumbered state Physical Therapist Assistant License
• 1 year of previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising PT
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices
