Job summary

Cassia Community is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to join Pro Rehab in Eagle, Colorado on a PRN basis. You will support therapists, monitor progress, and educate patients and families on prescribed exercises.

Requirements include an accredited PTA program with an Associate degree and a CO PTA license; knowledge of long-term care regulations and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program with at least an Associate’s degree.
• Current CO PTA license.
• Knowledge of state, federal and local long-term care regulations.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong patient care with knowledge of physiology and anatomy.
• Proficient in medical terminology and PT techniques.
• Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, ensuring adherence to prescribed therapies.
• Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and care plans to promote recovery.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care.

Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program and have at a minimum an Associate’s degree.
• Must possess a current COPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
• Strong patient care skills and knowledge of physiology and anatomy
• Proficient in medical terminology and physical therapy techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
