Pro Rehab, an established therapy provider, seeks a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join Valley Manor Care Center in Montrose, CO. This PRN role focuses on supporting therapists, enhancing patients' daily activities, and contributing to a compassionate care team in a skilled nursing setting.

The position requires an OTA program graduate with CO licensure, strong anatomy/physiology knowledge, and solid English communication skills to engage patients and families effectively.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program with an Associate’s degree.
• Must possess a CO COTA license.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and local long-term care regulations.

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, focusing on improving daily living activities (ADLs).
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes in accordance with care plans.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and exercises.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and have an Associate’s degree.
• Must possess a current COOccupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
• Ability to provide patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings
