Job summary

Fulton County Medical Center in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Rehabilitation Services team. You will render physical therapy treatments per the patient’s plan of care in collaboration with the licensed physical therapist, across Acute/Swing, Outpatient, Long Term Care, and Home Care settings.

• Graduate of an approved PTA program.
• Licensed as PTA with indirect supervision or eligible for temporary license in Pennsylvania.
• Must obtain PTA indirect supervision license within two years of employment.
• Attend at least two continuing education courses annually.
• Post graduation clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Render physical therapy treatment per patient's plan of care in collaboration with licensed physical therapist.
• Collaborate with PT across Acute/Swing, Outpatient, Long Term Care, and Home Care services.

Physical Therapist Assistant - PRN - Rehabilitation Services POSITION SUMMARY:

Renders physical therapy treatment as outlined in the patient's plan of care in collaboration with the licensed physical therapist consistent with PTA's formal education and training in service areas that may include Acute/Swing, Outpatient, Long Term Care, and Home Care.

Ii. Education Requirements/Licensure/Certification/Registration

Graduate of an approved program for physical therapist assistant, currently licensed as a physical therapist assistant with indirect supervision or possesses temporary license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Must obtain physical therapist assistant with indirect supervision license within two year of employment date. Attends a minimum of two continuing education courses annually. Post graduation clinical experience preferred.
