Elm Management in Lansdale, PA is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver skilled physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed PT. You will help residents meet goals in their care plan through therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and safe transfers.

Responsibilities include monitoring resident progress, documenting daily notes per Medicare requirements, and training residents, families, and nursing staff on safe mobility and transfer techniques while

Competenze

• Active Pennsylvania PTA certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• SNF or sub-acute setting experience preferred.

Position Summary The PRN PTA delivers skilled physical therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed PT, helping residents meet the goals set in their plan of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans established by the PT: therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, transfers, and modalities

• Monitor resident response and progress; report changes to the supervising PT

• Document daily treatment notes accurately and on time per Medicare and payer requirements

• Train residents, families, and nursing staff on safe mobility and transfer techniques

• Maintain a clean, safe gym and equipment

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania PTA certification

• Current BLS/CPR certification

• SNF or sub-acute experience preferred
